ONCE A CINEMA. STILL A PLACE TO ESCAPE.
Before we became Ivy & Jack, our home on Hay Street was known as Perth’s Town Cinema.
When the venue first opened as a cinema in 1969, the first film to screen was For Love of Ivy, inspiring the names ‘Ivy and Jack’ that remain part of the venue today. While the projectors have long since stopped rolling, the spirit of creating a place for people to come together remains.
Today, Ivy & Jack is Perth CBD restaurant and bar where good food, great drinks and good company take centre stage. From weekday lunches and after-work drinks to dinners that turn into on emore round, we’re proud to continue the tradition of offering a place to pause, connect and enjoy the moment.
So next time you’re dining with us, take a look around. You might just spot a few nods to the story that inspired it all.
Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks, there’s always a reason to stay for one more.
